Manchester United coach Eric ten Hag said that he does not prioritize one tournament over another and will play all the upcoming matches as if they were a final, especially since the team is in three different races amid a busy schedule of matches.
Ten Hag said after United's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League today, Sunday: "We deal with it match by match, so what can we do? We must win. We are Manchester United and we must win every game."
United's victory over relegation-threatened Forest took the team to third place and consolidated its position in the Golden Square.
Ten Hag said: “Points become more valuable at this time because all matches are finals, where we struggle against teams trying to escape relegation and giving everything they have, or teams competing at the top, so you have to fight hard for every point.”
United coach said: "Sabitzer was injured in the warm-up today and he felt something was wrong. We decided not to take any chances and we will know (tomorrow) the details of his injury, but when we have (Christian) Eriksen on the bench it is definitely an advantage."
