As a video editor, my primary service is to take raw video footage and turn it into a polished, finished product. This can involve a wide range of tasks, including:
Footage review and organization: Before editing can begin, I will review all of the raw footage and organize it into a logical order. This may involve labeling and categorizing clips, and creating a rough outline of the final video.
Creative direction and storyboarding: Depending on the project, I may be responsible for creating a creative direction or storyboard for the video. This will involve working closely with the client to understand their goals and vision for the final product.
Video editing: Once the footage has been reviewed and organized, I will begin editing the video. This can involve cutting and trimming footage, adding transitions and special effects, and adjusting the color grading and audio levels.
Sound editing: In addition to editing the video footage, I can also adjust the sound levels and add music or sound effects to enhance the final product.
Review and feedback: Once the first draft of the video is complete, I will share it with the client for review and feedback. I am happy to make revisions until the client is completely satisfied with the final product.
My capabilities as a video editor are broad and diverse, and I am skilled in a variety of software tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
