What makes an awesome video game soundtrack? Is it all just about nice melodies, or is there something more to it? Sure, the melodies have to be memorable and able to be looped for prolong durations of gameplay...but what gamers remember most is the impact of the music in correlation with the gameplay. In the early days it was enough to just write a handful of melodies to be used throughout the entire game, but now people are looking for something to strike their attention. Something that makes an impactful moment in the game's story even more vivid than the visuals and gameplay themselves. This is what I strive to do.
