Vote counting in 3 regions has ended! In

While the voting process was completed in the referendums organized by Russia in the Ukrainian territories of Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia, the people in the said regions supported the participation of Russia. In the Donetsk Region, it was learned that 56.85 percent of the vote count was completed and the counting continues.

Vote counting in Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia ended in the so-called referendums organized by Russia for the participation of Russia in 4 regions in Ukraine. In the referendums, in which approximately 4 million people voted, 86.89 percent in Donetsk, 83.61 percent in Luhansk, 90 percent in Zaporizhia and 76.86 percent in Kherson. More than 200 ballot boxes were set up in many cities of Russia for the residents of the region who took refuge in Russia due to the war in Ukraine.

VOTE COUNTING CONTINUES IN DONETSK

According to the uncertain results in 3 regions in the Donbass Region, while the decision to join Russia was made, 56.85 percent of the vote count was completed in the Donetsk Region. In the votes counted in Donetsk, it was reported that 94.75 percent of the people said "yes" to the participation in Russia so far. The same result is expected in Donetsk as in the other 3 regions.

“WELCOME TO RUSSIA, YOUR HOME”

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitri Medvedev made a statement on his social media account after the election results became clear, “The referendum is over. The results are clear. "Welcome to Russia, to your home," he said.

"It is now clear that Luhansk will return to Russia," Luhansk leader Leonid Pasechnik said in a statement after the election commission announced that the elections were complete.

MANY COUNTRIES AND INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS WILL NOT RECOGNIZE THE RESULTS OF REFERENDUMS

While the United Nations (UN) announced that they would not send observers to the region after the referendums, many countries such as the EU, NATO, USA, France, Israel and Albania stated that they would not recognize the results of the so-called referendums.
