Prominent Russian Military Blogger Killed in St. Petersburg Explosion
Vladlen Tatarsky, an ultra-nationalist Russian blogger, was killed in an explosion in Saint Petersburg. The explosion took place in the Street Bar cafe, which is believed to belong to the boss of the Russian paramilitary group Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin. "An explosive device exploded near the scene," a source told Russia's official TASS news agency . The explosion injured sixteen people.

Vladlen Tatarsky, whose real name was Maxime Fomin, had more than 560,000 subscribers on the Telegram messaging platform . He was one of Russia's most prominent military bloggers, providing an often critical look at the unfolding war in Ukraine. He was among several hundred guests who attended  a ceremony at the Kremlin on September 30, 2022 to mark Moscow's annexation of four Ukrainian regions, an initiative condemned and deemed illegal by a vast majority of member countries of the United Nations . “We will defeat everyone, we will kill everyone, we will steal everything we need. Everything will be as we wish.", he then launched in a video shot on this occasion. If Vladlen Tatarsky was deliberately targeted, it would be the second assassination on Russian territory of a personality associated with the war in Ukraine. 

Six dead in Russian strikes on Kostiantynivka

Police said Russia carried out a “massive attack” in the morning in Kostiantynivkan with six S-300 and Hurricane missile strikes. "Sixteen apartment buildings, eight private residences, a kindergarten, an administrative building, three cars and a gas pipeline" were affected in total,
