I have worked in the publishing field for more than 20 years, and have gained valuable knowledge in writing, editing, proofreading and project management. The range of titles has been varied, covering among others health, cellular, retail and rescue work (specifically for the National Sea Rescue Institute of South Africa). My last 'real' job was for a custom publisher that produces magazines on behalf of a variety of clients in South Africa. I worked there for just over 12 years, before deciding to break free from the city. My husband and I live in a small coastal town in the Western Cape, and I am concentrating on writing, copy editing and proofreading - the aspects of publishing I enjoy the most, and the ones where my proficiency lies.
