General Biography: I have been writing since 1992. I was trained first as a journalist, writing hard news stories and feature articles, press releases and applying AP style. Soon I went into technical writing, specializing in condensing and simplifying instructions for the beginning technical audience. Along the way I have written project management reports, requirement documents, proposals and presentations for the executive reader. I have worked for high-tech companies, non-profits, and government agencies, including Intel, Sprint, Blue Shield, Med Clinic, California Department of Insurance, California Department of Health. Currently my biggest client is Labyrinth Publications, a publishing house specializing in computer texts for the college reader. Since May of 2004 I have been proofreading and copyediting their texts and on-line material.
As of December 2004, I am just begining to bid on projects--and look forward to the new opportunities.
