As a teacher and writer, my talents are a blend of technical expertise and a real-world knowledge of education. I have worked with and written curriculum for struggling students as well as gifted students. Scaffolding of assignments and differentiation of curriculum is an area in which I have years of experience and training. I have also spent a significant amount of time teaching and coaching students in how to write college essays, narrative essays, and various creative genres. My specialty in the area of writing is in editing for usage and grammar. However, as a 12-year veteran of teaching high school English, I also have a wide range of experience in educational writing and curriculum.
