I currently work as an acquisitions editor for an audiobook company in Rhode Island. I assess incoming manuscripts for their viability as audiobooks, and negotiate with print publishers to purchase properties that will fit into and enhance our publishing program. I received a Master of Arts degree in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College in Boston, with a final GPA of 3.93. Coordinating full-time work with full-time study was challenging, but I came away from the experience with superb time management and organizational skills. I have published articles in several publications, including the Boston Globe, Budget Living magazine, BUST magazine, ArtsEditor.com, Semtex (a Dutch music magazine), CrownDozen.com, NewEnglandFilm.com, and Intervisions, the members' publication of the Boston Film and Video Foundation.     Vikki did an absolutely wonderful job on 3 different health-related reports I needed for online marketing. The friendly tone she used in her writing is sure to set the reader at ease, and the excellent content she pulled together is both extremely useful as well as complete.
