My most successful is one I have done for the company I presently work for. I have created a PHP online dashboard that does real time parsing of data being sent to it. It then stores these in a multi-million record database. It checks the entries versus a ruleset that is customer defined to generate a problem. When it is generated the problem will be assigned the priority and timeout information specified by the customer as to when it will close. The customer has the ability to add notes, change the status, and close open problems. The application will then display open problems accordingly and will automatically close problems after a timeout defined by the user. All necessary options for sorting through the data are provided to the customer on a page where they can modify them specifically to their business model.
