• Over 8.0 years of experience in Linux and WebLogic Administration. • Have good experience on Oracle DBA, WebLogic and JOSS product installations across Linux, Solaris, AIX and HP environments. • Experienced in installing and configuring the RHEL5, Solaris 9 & 10. • Expertise on installing, configuring and applying patches on Oracle 10g/11g on Solaris and Linux machines. • Expertise on installing all the tools on the RHEL , Solaris and AIX • Experience on Installing JPublisher and Web Service call out Utilities. • Expertise on installing Third-party tools like Java, Perl, Samba, Curl, Purify, and Net-SNMP on UNIX machines. • Hands on experience on Installing Application Servers like Weblogic, JBOSS and TOMCAT webserver on UNIX machines. • Experience on creating clusters for WebLogic domain maintained on different servers. • Experienced as a Linux Administrator to create and maintain Users. • Expertise in Unix and Linux system installation, configuration, administration, the development and testing of backup and recovery methodologies, troubleshooting, capacity and performance planning, preventative maintenance, monitoring and alerting setup and security hardening. • Good knowledge in Memory, Network and File Management. • Scheduling various cron jobs for backups, database, proprietary jobs using CRON and troubleshooting daily job problems. • Having good hands on experience in creating and resizing the partition using LVM’s. • Have worked with the “Yum” for upgrading the Red Hat Linux. • Very good knowledge in tools like VI editor, putty, SCP, rlogin, telnet, winscp and many more. • Setting and Managing NFS, NIS, DNS, TFTP, FTP, DHCP, SNMP, Wget, Apache, Samba, Shell Scripting, Patching, Automate nightly builds and also does some sanity test and send the results as mail. • Having good hands on experience in Creating, updating, and closing tickets. • Experienced on Installing
