I'm a female professional translator, specialized in English - Bahasa Indonesia translation or vice versa. My native language is Bahasa Indonesia, although i am also fluent in Javanese I've been doing this job for 5 years but only for local projects, especially for my teaching project or my colleagues request. Right now i am working as a private teacher for primary and middle school students, mainly in science subject, because of my educational background which is in Biology major. I graduated from University of Indonesia, majoring in Biology (Microbiology) in 2008. My research was about using a new methods and tools in detecting microorganisms (bacteria) as an indicator of water pollution and to prove how much effective the method is. This is the reason why i teach science and do sometimes translating articles from National Geographic magazine or any science magazine for educational purposes, in order to give my students informations they cannot get from their formal school. I am also a fan and have a collection of classic readings and novels such as Great Expectation, The Call of The Wild, Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn, and Pride and Prejudice. Book that i currently reading is called The Golden Thread from Lamplighter Publishing. I do enjoy various kind of movies, documentaries and music genres, depends on my mood and needs. So any of topic related above, i am sure i can understand and able to do the job. Based on my background, i'm sure that i can offer translating and writing services in various fields, such as : I do have enough skills in computer software which commonly used in writing and editing purposes such as Ms. Office Word, Excel, Power Point, Publishing, and Outlook.
