Writer / Editor / Punster

$50/hr Starting at $50

Hi, my name is Tracy and I am a high school English Teacher with 14 years experience in the classroom. I hold a B.A. in English and a MEd in Education/Curriculum and Technology. The skills I have honed as a classroom teacher are being harnessed and redirected to begin a freelancing career. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in the corporate world for 12 years, including for a major university in Philadelphia, PA. I have also worked in non-profit, as well as manufacturing. This mix of experience makes me a well-rounded person with a unique skill set and insight. As a teacher of literature and writing, I have strong skills in reading, analysis, editing, and writing. I am also well-versed in research and MLA style. I've taught these skills for years and consider myself an expert on them. As a creative person with a good sense of humor, I enjoy wordplay and puns. If you need something clever and funny, look no further. Punning is one of my superpowers - I am quite cape-able in that area. Another strength is conjuring up creative titles and taglines for events, products, etc. In another life, I could have been an advertising maven. If you need someone who can think fast and provide fresh, creative content, I am at your service. You can also count on me for academic/scholarly writing or writing that is relatable/personal narrative style. If you need someone professional, practical, creative, warm, and friendly, I hope you'll consider me for your writing, editing, proofreading, and public speaking needs. SPECIFIC AREAS OF INTEREST/EXPERTISE: Education (secondary English) Christian Living Bible Knowledge/Study Christian Devotionals Literary Analysis (concentration in British Literature/Shakespeare, though any is fine) Parenting/Marriage/Family Issues Motivational Speaking
