Hello! Welcome to my profile. I am a college graduate and former high school English teacher; in college, I studied English literature and minored in history. I love to read and to write, and I make it a priority to keep those skills sharp. I also worked as an assistant editor for my college's newspaper, and I was awarded for my special attention and consistency regarding deadlines. I am a confident and capable editor and proofreader for most types of writing. I served as both a tutor and a supervisor for my college's Writing Center, which gave me experience with formatting, revising, drafting, and communicating regarding everything from personal statements and essays to graphic novels to research labs. I also have some experience writing content for websites, and am looking for more of that work, as well as blogging and social media accounts (I maintained my college's Writing Center's social media accounts, including Facebook and Twitter). I have some experience with Quickbooks and can do light bookkeeping.
