I am a corporate communication specialist, professional content writer, editor, and proof-reader. I have worked full-time for a number of blue-chip companies such as De Beers Consolidated Mines, De Beers Group, Standard Bank Group, IBM, the University of the Witwatersrand, the Professional Provident Society, Novartis and others. Since 2006, I have been working as a freelance writer, editor, proof-reader and translator and have worked for The Press Office, Global Voice Group, SAP, the Women's Legal Centre at the University of Cape Town, CoachMatching (a professional executive coaching company), Marcus Brewster Communications, Clariter Petrochemicals and others. I have excellent language, writing, editing and proof-reading skills and am accustomed to working on very high level projects. I am a competent business writer - able to research and write on almost any topic. I have written, edited and proofread: newsletters, annual and other reports, marketing collateral, press releases, thought leadership articles, consumer articles, fact sheets, product descriptions and brochures, training material, material for strategic communications initiatives, web copy. I also edit any of the above and do translations amongst others for the Cape Town International School of Languages and Translations.
