My legal background - I studied Law and worked in International Arbitration at the beginning of my career – gave me a solid base on which to develop strong writing skills. I learned to synthesize, and simplify complex ideas into short briefings that were well articulated, compelling, and convincing. That allowed me to successfully work several years as advocacy manager where I wrote on daily basis political briefings, policy papers, blogs, articles and submissions for parliamentary committees. I continued afterwards to write on issues such as international development, politics, conflict resolution and humanitarians issues. Finally, as a traveller and having changed my professional life too, I have written during my travels, and wrote extensively on issues such as mindfulness and how to beat your fears, which transformed into a book that I published last summer.
