I have edited and produced several videos for YouTube in the past, I have edited for a channel as big as 560K subscribers and I regularly edit thumbnails and edit videos for them. I provide a free thumbnail with the video I edit, I also make sure to send all the license of the songs used so that it isn't a problem but most of the times I use royalty free songs to be in the clear and not have any issues with the videos. I make use of Sony Vegas, After Effects to edit the videos. I also use Da Vinci resolve if it's a high budget film to enhance the visual pleasure.
