I am a native German speaker from Hamburg and an experienced German language instructor at the college level. I specialize in English-German document translation and German proofreading and editing. I can also do research for you using German or English sources and report the results in either or both languages.
Over the years, I have taught advanced, intermediate and beginning levels of German at the University of Virginia, University of Massachusetts Boston, Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, and the Goethe Institut in Boston. I have also translated (German–English, Arabic–German) and proofread (German, Arabic) academic materials for faculty research projects, University of Virginia and University of Richmond.
