The more clothes I make, the more I realize clothes are not about clothes at all, they're about the body. The human body and the mechanics it performs are astounding. I'm less interested in clothes that just sit there and look pretty, preferring to create more technical garments that help a human do a job, protect him or her from the elements, and even protect from harm.
