About

Provide comprehensive and robust analysis of microarray and RNA-Seq data

With the rapid growth of patient biological data and increasing research to understand the biological processes leading to disease in order to provide personalized and preventative medicine has been a major challenge in the scientific community. Bioinformatics has become an emerging field that is being used in various areas of medical research for interpretation and handling of large-scale biological data. This had driven me to pursue a Masters degree in Bioinformatics to be able to make unique and highly important positive contributions to scientific research. I received my Masters degree in 2010 and have gained 5 years of professional experience in the field since then by working with leading world-renowned scientists. In due course of time I have had the immense privilege to start working with Dr.Rafick Sekaly, one of the worlds leading scientist in HIV research since 2012 and I have been specialized and focused towards HIV cure. My major focus of research has been on identifying the underlying mechanisms that lead to the establishment and persistence of the virus in HIV infected patients, and assessing vaccination immune responses to understand how genomic products function together, by applying various bioinformatics and systems biology approaches, and developing fast paced pipelines to process and analyze large scale data.
