About

I am a CELTA and TYLEC qualified teacher from Egypt. I work at the British Council, Egypt, and a St Augustine School, Al-Mahallah. I have been teaching English for about six years since I graduated from the Faculty of Education in English Literature, Education and Teaching Methodologies with honors. I taught English to different levels and age groups, ranging from children to adults, and beginners to advanced. Being dedicated to professional development enabled me to develop my teaching skills and my knowledge about language. I took courses with esteemed universities and teaching centers, such as the British Council, Cambridge University, Oxford University and Amideast. For example, I studied ‘Study Skills’ with Oxford University, which provided me with the skills that I needed to pass the CELTA with distinction. I also earned accredited qualifications such as the TKT (modules 1, 2, 3, KAL, and YL) and CELTA (PASS B), TYLEC, and IELTS (Band 8).
