I am a Finance & Taxation Professional with more than eight years of experience in audit, taxation, corporate finance, and financial management. Over the years, I have developed strong expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing audits, implementing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with taxation and corporate regulations.
My work revolves around financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, costing of imported goods, and managing tax matters including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax. I am skilled at handling tight deadlines, solving complex financial issues, and leading finance operations with accuracy and discipline.
Currently, I manage the complete finance and taxation function of a commercial importing company, where my responsibilities include LC management, financial planning, supervising internal audits, coordinating external audits, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. I also design and implement financial procedures that help improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across the organization.
Alongside my corporate role, I provide online accounting and taxation services to UAE-based clients, where I prepare statements of accounts, track receivables/payables, record daily transactions, and generate financial analytical reports.
My career began in a Chartered Accountancy firm, where I gained extensive experience in external audits, IFRS-based financial reporting, tax filings, and corporate compliance with SECP. This foundation strengthened my understanding of controls, financial systems, and reporting standards across manufacturing, trading, service, and non-profit sectors.
I am currently pursuing CAF from ICAP and hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree. I am proficient in Odoo, Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, and have working knowledge of ERP and SAP systems. I consistently aim to deliver accurate, timely, and well-structured financial insights to support informed decision-making and long-term organizational growth.
