Professional Engineer / Designer

I have been working in this field (design for manufacturability) for over four years. I have technical knowledge in mechanical design gained from higher education as well as experience. Currently, I'm using Fusion 360 to create mechanical models, FEA, engineering drawing as well as generating g-code for CNC manufacturing. I also have knowledge in proper material selection for the parts based on the function, environment, cost, adaptability as well as the service life of the part. My experience mainly focuses on the design of mechanical parts, mechanical analysis (FEA, material selection), and manufacturing (Machining, additive manufacturing).

Work Terms

Here is my approach to ensure my solutions meet your EXACT needs:

1- [Understand] Listen and ask the right questions to fully understand the requirements and the design challenges of your project i.e. parts and assembly.
At this stage you can provide my with rough white paper sketches of each part to communicate the idea with me. Or you can give me a verbal or written description of the parts so I make the sketches to share them with you to start off the discussion with. I do this for free!

2- [Design] Start designing using Fusion360 or SolidWorks as quick as possible and share them with you to review and get your feedback to make any necessary changes. Changes can be part overall size or holes locations or even starting over to redesign the parts without charging you for time time designing the first one if did not match what you want.

3- [Prototyping] If needed, I can 3D print the parts and ship them to you so you can see the parts physically before manufacturing them or approving them.

4- [Engineering Drawings] After approving that the parts design matches your intent, I will start creating the engineering drawing with Fusion 360 or SolidWorks. The drawings can including GD&T with metric or English units depending in your preference.
