Work Terms
1. Payment Terms
Deposit: A 50% upfront deposit is required via Guru SafePay to begin the project. For smaller tasks (under $100), 100% upfront is preferred.
Milestones: For larger projects (e.g., a 50-slide deck or 30 pages of book design), payment will be split into milestones (e.g., Initial Draft, First Revision, Final Delivery).
Final Release: Remaining funds must be released from SafePay upon delivery of the final, unwatermarked files.
2. Revision Policy
Inclusions: Each project includes 3 rounds of revisions at no extra cost.
Scope: Revisions include design tweaks, color adjustments, and font changes. Major content changes or adding new slides after the initial brief may incur an additional fee.
Feedback: To keep the project moving, all feedback should be provided within 2-3 business days.
3. Communication & Availability
Response Time: I typically respond to all messages via the Guru Workroom within 12–24 hours.
Hours: My standard working hours are 9 AM – 6 PM EST
Preferred Channel: All communication must stay within the Guru platform to ensure transparency and security for both parties.
4. Deliverables & Ownership
Files: Upon completion, you will receive the fully editable PPTX (PowerPoint, Canva) file, along with a PDF version.
Rights: Full commercial ownership of the final design is transferred to the client once the final payment is released.
Portfolio: I reserve the right to display a limited number of slides (with sensitive/confidential data blurred or replaced) in my professional portfolio unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed.
5. Confidentiality
I take data privacy seriously. All documents, branding assets, and corporate data shared during the project will be kept strictly confidential and deleted upon request after project completion.
