Work Terms

1. Services Offered:
I offer comprehensive proofreading services, including but not limited to:

Spelling and typographical error correction

Clarity, sentence structure, and readability improvements

Ensuring adherence to specific style guides (if provided)

2. Turnaround Times:

Standard proofreading: Typically 3-5 business days depending on project length.

Rush services: Available for an additional fee (typically within 1-2 business days). Please inquire about availability.

3. Rates:

My rates are competitive and vary based on the project scope and complexity. I offer a per-word or per-hour pricing model.

I will provide a customized quote based on your specific project needs.

Rates are based on a final word count (for manuscripts, articles, etc.) or time spent (for smaller documents).

4. Payment Terms:

Payment is due upon project completion, before the final files are delivered.

I accept payments via PayPal, bank transfer, or other preferred methods.

For projects over $500, a 50% deposit is required upfront, with the balance due upon completion.

5. Revisions:

I offer one round of revisions for any adjustments or clarifications needed after the initial proofread.

Additional rounds of revisions will be billed at my standard hourly rate.

6. Confidentiality:

Your privacy is important to me. I respect the confidentiality of your work, and I will never share or publish your content without permission.

Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) can be signed upon request.

7. Cancellation and Refunds:

If a project is canceled before proofreading begins, a full refund will be issued (for pre-payment).

For work that is already in progress, a partial refund may be considered based on the amount of work completed.

Refunds are not available after final project delivery.
