WORKING TERMS
1. Scope of Work
Before commencing an assignment, I will confirm the scope, deliverables and expected timeline. Work outside the agreed scope may require a separate fee or revised timeline.
2. Information & Documents
The quality of legal advice and drafting depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information and documents provided by the client. Any material facts or documents relevant to the assignment should be disclosed at the outset.
3. Turnaround Time
Timelines will depend on the complexity and urgency of the assignment. I will communicate the expected delivery date before starting the work.
4. Revisions
Reasonable revisions arising from the original agreed instructions are included. Substantial changes to the scope or instructions after delivery may be treated as additional work.
5. Confidentiality
Client information and documents shared for an assignment will be treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing the agreed legal services, subject to applicable law and professional obligations.
6. Legal Research
Research-based work will be prepared using applicable statutes, regulations, judicial precedents and other reliable legal sources available at the time of research.
7. Client Responsibility
The client remains responsible for providing complete and accurate information and for making the final decision regarding any legal, commercial or litigation strategy.
8. Professional Communication
I value clear communication, realistic timelines and professional working relationships. I will keep the client informed of material issues affecting the assignment.
