I offer writing and editing services with a focus on creative writing, content production, and general editing/proofreading. All my services involve a high level of engagement and I encourage repeated contact with my clients. Satisfaction is ensured, as I am quick to solve any minor issues that my clients find in my work.
When it comes to editing, I especially recommend a high level of contact and interaction between the client and the editor, to help guarantee that the client is satisfied with the final product. I submit edited drafts with possibilities for improvements to my clients and give them the option to use changes that I have made only if the client believes that it is beneficial for the final product.
As a writer, it is my duty to ensure that the client's needs are met and that any errors in the writing, whether they be caused by miscommunication or not, are fixed with no extra consequences to the client. I accept full responsibility for any mistakes made in my writing, and do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work Terms
Payment is always variable and negotiable - I am willing to accept new prices, and change my price based on my competitors. If you believe that I have submitted an unfair price for a proposal, please let me know so that I may fix it to ensure a better experience.
For editing jobs, I prefer to receive payment after the first edited draft is submitted, but am willing to receive payment after the project is complete for clients who have worked with others on Elance successfully. For basic, non-heavy editing, I ask to be payed $3.75 per 1,000 words, which amounts to about $7.50/hr.
I always ask to receive payment only after I have submitted the finished content for jobs that involve writing new material. For writing jobs, I ask to be payed $8 per 500 words, which is about $8/hr. For ghostwriting, I charge up to $10 per 500 words, and more complicated jobs can cost more.
These prices are well below the industry standard, for which pricing estimates can be found at http://www.the-efa.org/res/rates.php. For recurring clients or in the case of larger jobs, I am willing to decrease my rates further upon client contact.
