Full Stack IoT Engineer - Hardware/Software Integration

My name is Aidan and I am a Full stack Hardware/Software Engineer - Everything from a Bare-Bones PCB to a Functional Web Dashboard.

I specialise in the creation of custom-designed BLE-Capable IoT sensors, full cloud communication solutions, as well as designing front-end dashboards for consuming and analysing all types of data. I enjoy solving problems, and implementing new and exciting ideas to their fruition.

Some of my experience and skills are listed below, please feel free to ask me any questions to help determine if I am the right candidate for your project.

Web Development:
- Fluent in the usual, modern, and reliable HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, as well as frameworks like JQuery, Vue.js, and Angular.js.
- Integrating with JSON REST APIs, and services using OAUTH1/2.
- Able to work from a design brief and implement to any recommendations with full cross-browser support.

DevOps:
- Designed and maintained customised API and Database services for use IoT applications, gaining skills in AWS and GCP clouds.
- Using GitLab and GitHub to track code changes, run tests, and automatically deploy production code to Kubernetes and Elastic Beanstalk Services.
- Enabling Embedded Projects to auto-update their own firmware, and submit core-dumps to a Google Cloud App for later analysis.

Embedded Engineering Experience:
- BLE - Completed multiple projects defining custom Bluetooth Low Energy Services Using Nordic NRF52 Chipsets.
- Custom designed and built a hardware data acquisition system with Temperature, Humidity, Fluid, and Vibration sensors.
- Using KiCad to design Schematics and PCB Layouts.
- Reverse engineering unknown RS232 Communication Protocols
- Managing off-shore PCB manufacture, component procurement, and assembly.
- Developing custom SNMP and HTTP Server stacks for use in an embedded micro-controller.
