I love music and I provide audio-related services to anyone feeling extra creative today.
I'm an Audio Engineer from Latvia, with a Bachelor's in Audio Technology, currently working at a local recording studio. Originally from Latvia, I did live in Glasgow for the duration of my education (3 years), mainly for a change in the setting and better contact/networking options, and I for sure enjoyed my time there (free access to a recording studio is a great motivator).
I have always surrounded myself with music, searching for new artists most every day. Finally, during my 2nd year of studies, I decided to pursue the combination of music and financial survivability that is Sound Engineering via Freelancing, so that I could enjoy my work and the final produce that comes out of it.
So far I've worked on many musical projects, ranging from producing, recording and mixing songs, to sound design for short movies/videos, as well as video games. For Game Sound Design specifically, I've worked both in UE4 and Unity, doing implementation work and some visual scripting in UE. As far as audio software goes, I'm comfortable working in Reaper, Pro Tools or Cubase. Could probably adjust to most other DAWs, if necessary.
The more recent work has been commercials and media-related audio work. That involves producing and recording voice overs, cutting up the voice dubs to make the final edit feel naturally flowing and pertaining to the client's requirements.
In epic conclusion, thank You for taking the time to read through this little mashup of a story. I'm all for working with other enthusiastic people in hopes of creating something entertaining for whoever cares to enjoy it, so give me a shout if You feel like I'd fit well with Your needs and pursuits.
If nothing else, remember to have fun with whatever project You've currently got going!
I am available to work around 25-30 hours a week, but, depending on the day, I might just be available for 8 or so hours.
Though I've set my payment fees as part of my profile, I'm always open to reasonable negotiation regarding my final payment.
I prefer to work for a set amount of money, but I'm not against working at an hourly rate, if desired.
