Expert on machine learning and bioinformatics
I did my PhD of Computational Neuroscience in the University of Bristol, Department of Computer Science. During these very interesting years, I used mathematical modelling, signal analysis and machine learning to the study of the brain pathology of Parkinson’s disease patients. After some experimental training in Cambridge, now I am again applying machine learning and bioinformatics to the study of neurodegeneration, but this time to investigate biomarkers and the metabolic network in both Alzheimer's disease and other brain disorders. In the last few years, me and my team have been moving into artificial intelligence and deep neuronal networks applied to natural language processing and drug discovery.
