Italian Translator

I'm an Italian student who graduated last year. My high school was specialized in foreign languages. Two years ago I also got a CAE (Cambridge English: Advanced) certificate confirming my C1 level in this language.

Since July 2019 I've been working as a volunteer translator for the humanitarian organisation Plan International, which advances Children's rights. My job is to translate letters (English to Italian and viceversa) between sponsors and their sponsored children, who more often than not don't speak the same language. Every once in a while I also translate documents that Plan International will then upload to their website.
I love working with them because I can help others with my skills.

I also like reading, writing and creating. I won two awards for Best Poem when I was 12 and 13 years old. In 2020 one of my poems was published in the collection "Verba Volant, Scripta Manent"
