I hold a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineer (Energy & Process Engineering specialization) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science applied to Industrial Engineering.
The combined knowledge of data science techniques and industrial processes is my added value with respect to other data scientists because it let me select the proper algorithms without negleting the real context of the machine learning application.
Besides I have both experience in the academic world and in the industrial framework thanks to 3 years spent as a Research Associate (Post-Doc) in a large italian company operating in the energy field. This aspect let me approach each project with a more eclectic way to thinking at the possible solution which guarantees the client satisfaction.

Work Terms
My common approach to the projects involves 3 main steps:
1) Kick-off Meeting
The project details are discussed and agreed with the client splitting the work in milestones (each milestone has a specific amount and deadline). I am open to sign a NDA before the project beginning.
2) Intermediate Workshops
Around each milestone deadline, a deailed update about the current status of the project is provided (the results obtained are discussed and commented with the client)
3) Close-Up Meeting
The final documents (files & report) are delivered to the client.
For large project I usually prefer to meet the client in his headquarter for each step described above, while for mid to small projects the aforementioned activities can be carried out remotely through Skype.
Usually a weekly update about the status of the project is provided.
