Finding and fixing defects does not help if the system built is unusable and does not fulfill the users' needs and expectations
I hold a higher education diploma in Computer Science and over 15 years’ solid experience testing software in Windows, Linux and mobile (iOS, Android) environments. As the ISTQB Certified Tester and Test Manager I have a wealth of experience in both roles. The synergy from these two areas of expertise is one of my main strengths that gives me a more in-depth understanding and broader outlook on selection of testing strategies, approaches, techniques, tools in particular and the entire testing process in general. I believe this would make me a valuable addition to your organization.
I have excellent debugging skills, and believe strongly that testing goes beyond just executing a test protocol. Another of my greatest strengths is my inquisitive nature. I have the ability to read and understand the applications on the code level (Java, C#, JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, XML etc.), and to prevent potential problems before they are merged into a new build.
For test automation, I am using Selenium WebDriver in combination with Java (IntelliJ IDEA IDE) or C# (MS Visual Studio).
I have experience in testing of different phases of software cycle and good knowledge on the requirements of completing a project from initial to final level doing all appropriate testing (i.e. System testing, Integration testing, Load/stress testing, Acceptance testing).
Writing test plans, test report as well as creating test metrics is also where I have a lot of proven experience on various projects.
Throughout my career, I’ve become a certified expert on the Agile framework for project management and the Scrum methodology.
