Hi there, I'm Alicia Taylor, and I want to share my journey with you. I grew up in the small town of Siler City, NC, where economic struggles were a part of everyday life. My childhood was marked by financial hardship and uncertainty, but I refused to let that define me.

Despite the challenges I faced, I was determined to create a better future for myself. Education became my escape, my ticket out of poverty. I poured myself into my studies, fueled by a hunger for knowledge and a desire to break free from the cycle of poverty that had gripped my community for generations.

After years of hard work and determination, I graduated with a degree in English Literature, ready to pursue my passion for writing and language. But I didn't stop there. I wanted to do more, to make a real difference in the world.

That's when I discovered the power of proofreading. With my keen eye for detail and love of language, I realized that I could help others communicate more effectively through their writing. And so, I embarked on a career as a professional proofreader, determined to use my skills to empower others.
