Hi there! I'm Alison, a full-time freelance writer/editor/proofreader/whatever. I've spent most of my time writing about fashion, food and music for folks like Refinery29, The Daily Beast, Elle.com, Modern Farmer online and many, many more. I do some back-end work over on The Fashion Spot, editing photos and uploading slideshows. I've also guest-edited for the local editions of Racked and Eater, so I'm getting better and better with Movable Type and HTML. I also copy edit whenever I can find the gigs — I've worked for clients as diverse as a start-up magazine and a small Midwestern museum. Work Terms

Sadly I don't have much expertise in the way of work-life balance, so my availability is wide-open. I work best at night. I'm amazing with quick turnarounds.
