Collaborative Resume and Technical Writing Services
Have lots to say, but can't find the words? That's where I come in. My creative writing services have been at work for years, and my collaborative method develops written work with your goals, your tone, and your input. I focus on crafting resumes, cover letters, speeches, and short articles to get your point across. Though based in Chicago, I work with individuals all over the country.
My Background
I graduated from the University of Florida in 2010. During college, I tutored students in math, physics, and english. After years as a corporate writer in engineering and architecture, I moved to Chicago to pursue my masters in creative writing, and currently work full time as a technical writer for a construction and architecture firm.
During my career, I've written essays, submissions, and proposals to successfully procure over $1 billion of business and 15+ national awards. These accolades introduced me to contacts requiring services for websites, seminar speeches, and marketing needs. Outside of work I've written creative blog posts, fictional short stories, wedding speeches, and opinion essays.
In addition to writing, I've spent 5+ years recruiting and have supported over 100 individuals in procuring jobs, either with my firm or another firm. I've lectured on technical writing, contract language, company culture, and building your resume at Texas A&M University, Texas Tech University, Kansas State University, and Iowa State University.
Work Terms
If you are looking for someone to exchange a few emails and create generic written work, I'm not your girl. My approach is more personal, and I prefer meeting in person or a few phone calls to collectively understand the goals and expectations of the project. I'm professional and friendly, and promise the dialogue will be an enjoyable (and highly productive) experience!
