My college degree (BA) is in English. I have been teaching high school for 16 years. While writing instruction has always been part of my pedagogy, I personally enjoy writing. It is my hope that I can succeed as a free-lance writer. My area of strength is research based writing; I enjoy research, and I am exceptional well-versed in documentation.

Additionally, I have experience in technical business writing and resume writing. In my portfolio, I have completed more than 20 professional resumes, including but not limited to: nurses, professional chefs, oil field workers, IT specialists, school administrators, and teachers.

Work Terms

I would like to work with overall deadlines, not set hours. My life is such that I need flexibility, but I do have the time to write. Payment can be negotiated by the job. Email and telephone are very accessible forms of communication. Additionally, I am able to use Skype and apps such as Viber and FaceTime.
