I have over 20 years of experience working for a daily newspaper. I am accustomed to working with tight deadlines, and I have written, proofed and edited for every department in my newsroom. I am fast and accurate.
I have also written over 700 articles for wisegeek.com, and have moderated discussion forums and do editing work with them on a regular basis.
As an editor, my goal is to preserve the writer's individual voice. My motto is, "It will sound like you, only better." That is my greatest strength as an editor. I have strong grammar and spelling skills and with a degree in English, as opposed to journalism, I've done many kinds of writing.
