I live to travel and explore the beautiful world around me and write about it when I get home!

Writing isn't just a job for me. Writing is a passion and has been for over 20 years. I started as a scriptwriter when I was just out of high school. I co-wrote a movie script for a short film that went on to be screened at international film festivals. I went on to study Media Communications and Journalism and during my college years, I discovered a new passion in the art traveling. Now, I do realize that travel isn't an art to most people but I see it that way. When I travel, I don't just jump on a plane, get a shuttle to a gated resort and stay on the resort grounds for a week. I stay in hostels, bed and breakfasts or small inns where I can get a real taste of the location and meet the local people. I love to get lost while traveling because this is when I find the most interesting things. I love to indulge in local food and culture and, most importantly, I love to write about my travels when I get home. I have my own personal travel blog about my adventures near and far. I've also had a number of articles accepted for publication in a number of magazines and websites around the world. Recently, I finished a job with travel company Trivago. For four years, I wrote hotel and travel content for their website. Currently, I write a monthly-column for my local newspaper that focuses on the attractions and events going on in my community.
