I am a mechanical engineer, receiving my diploma (Dipl. Ing.) from the Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics Dpt., University of Patras, with specialization to Applied Mechanics (Composite Structures design and Finite Elements Analysis). Since 2010, worked as a PhD Researcher in the Applied Mechanics Laboratory of the same department, and received my PhD in Small Satellites applications, in April 2017. My research interests focusing on Space Systems Engineering and small spacecraft structures, with specialization on the composite materials and extensive use of CAD/CAE tools. I was a key member of the University of Patras Satellite (UPSAT) team, having leading role in the structural system design, systems integration and the testing campaigns, of the first Greek open-source CubeSat.
