I wear several business hats and I really don't fit into any one particular business industry mold. Less than 10 years ago I discovered that I have a passion for writing. Since then, I have been doing a bit of writing here and there. I usually write articles and website content relating to the topics of taxation, general finance, and general legal matters. With 35 years of combined administrative, accounting/bookkeeping, tax prep, legal, and travel consulting experience, I decided to become self-employed in 2001. I established my business 12 years ago (a real office). My energies are mainly focused in the areas of Tax Accounting, new business consulting and business administration. I am also experienced in the fields of voice over, audio editing, and audio transcription. My legal experience stems from being a Paralegal for a Real Estate Tax Attorney and a Litigation Attorney, my administrative experience comes from different industries that I worked in, my travel experience comes from personal experience as well as being a personal travel consultant.
I have worked as an employee for a large tax company as Senior Tax Manager and a Tax School Instructor educating individuals who wish to become registered tax preparers. I am a published author of a self help guide and e-book on how to start a business. I have worked in various arenas, and have tried to absorb as much knowledge as I could from each of those arenas. I am a paid Expert working with an online Q&A service that has been in business for 15 years. I have been working with them as an Independent Contractor since Feb. 2011, answering a variety of tax, social security, and finance related questions. I have done the 9-5 thing.
