About

Ph.D.-level proofreading & editing: I don’t just fix grammar—I sharpen your science. Let’s get your paper publication-ready

My Story

I never planned to become an academic editor. I was a chemist turned chemical engineer—IIT Guwahati Ph.D., postdoc at Hong Kong Baptist University, multiple first-author papers in journals like Chem. Eng. J. (IF 13.2) and J. CO2 Util. (IF 8.4). I synthesized nanocatalysts, ran electrocatalytic CO₂ and N₂ reduction, and optimized reaction engineering. But my first journal rejection taught me something my lab never did: great science poorly written might as well not exist.

That rejection stung. The reviewer said my data was promising but my manuscript was "difficult to follow." No fatal flaw—just weak structure and unclear language. So I taught myself to write with the same precision I used to align an XRD pattern. I studied high-impact papers, rewrote my drafts obsessively, and eventually published successfully.

Then came the moment that changed my path. A junior researcher from a non-English background showed me her beautiful electrochemical data—clean, compelling—but her manuscript was a tangled mess. Her supervisor had refused to review it. She was ready to quit.

We sat together for two hours. I didn’t rewrite her work. I asked questions: What’s your core discovery? Where’s the evidence? She re-sequenced her figures, rewrote her abstract, and clarified her methods. After three editing rounds, her paper was accepted with minor revisions. She cried. I realized: my true value isn’t my own publications—it’s helping other researchers publish theirs.

My work experience spans Ph.D. research (IIT Guwahati), a postdoc (biomass photocatalysis at HKBU), and a project fellowship (CO₂ separation membranes for GAIL India). I’ve peer-reviewed, proofread, and co-authored across disciplines.

My values: precision (every sentence like a data point), respect (your voice, polished not replaced), reliability (deadlines met), and empathy (I’ve been rejected too).

My promise: No language-related desk rejections. Clean, compelling, publication-ready manuscripts. Let’s tell your story.
