I didn't always expect to see myself in a marketing position- or to be so deeply invested in the Ski Industry but it happened and I wouldn't change it for a second. I always had a way with words so it doesn't surprise me that I found myself here, now making a difference and having a positive impact on the environment around me.

It started with me first hearing the call for the mountains. The mountains were calling and I had to go. So I packed up my things and travelled up to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont where I attended Lyndon State College and received my Undergraduate Degree in Mountain Recreation Management. With limited Marketing Experience but a deep understanding of how the Ski Industry and Winter Sports Industry operated I took a summer internship for Stoke Lab inc. There in Crested Butte, Colorado, under the guidance of the brilliant Mike Horn I learned all about media, marketing and design related aspects of the industry and how it connected and integrated into the ski industry. I also helped copyright and design Mike's other publications Kronicle Magazine and 4241' Magazine.

After my internship I trekked back east where I found myself working some odd jobs for a season. Then I was offered a job at Basin Sports where I currently work (mainly). This job has even more expanded and diversified my ability to navigate the ski industry.

Now back in school working towards a Graduate Certificate from Harvard I hope to see my education and professional knowledge expand. Once completion of my Certificate I intend to apply to their Graduate Program in Marketing Management and with hopeful acceptance continue to grow and develop my skills.

While not working at Basin I offer my freelance services for other local businesses in the area. It's amazing how few shops in ski communities lack the understanding and experience to properly utilize the social media aspects of the industry. I help them navigate this tricky tight rope and in turn help promote and

Freelance to me means keeping odd hours, working overnight and making my services available to my clients, when it works for them. My rates are somewhat adjustable based on the project at hand. Marketing is suppose to be fun so let me show you how to get engaged with your audience.
