I am for the most part a figurative artist. I draw my inspiration mostly from people, human or animal expression, life's moments and emotion. I endeavor to portray these elements to create a mood or an intense feeling of some sort in the observer. Although figurative this does not always mean that my subject needs to be human. I will draw from whatever subject gives me the sense that I am trying to portray.
I have done extensive commission work in my life and even though in these instances the subject is generally chosen by the customer, I endeavor to instill some personal element in every work that I do.
