Marketing has helped me combine my love of design and building relationships.

I have always been an artsy person, and I found it easier to connect with others this way. When figuring out my career path, I knew I wanted to involve design, and this is where marketing came into my life.

My first experience with marketing was at The Nook Day Care, where I was asked to help run their Instagram page to showcase the meals I cooked for the kids. It was fun connecting with the families through social media as I updated the feed daily with delicious organic meals. These actions encouraged me to go back to school.

After finishing my degree in marketing this past May, I am currently expanding my digital marketing knowledge at my internships. At Ciera Nicole PR, I design, assist with marketing strategies, and plan social media content for multiple brands. My role helps connect this business with their online communities for a wider reach.

I manage social media accounts at Renegade Resume and research their target audience, run analytic reports, and campaigns.

I find joy in creating content and connecting with people. I continue to grow and learn new techniques in my journey.

In the future, I want to get into the analytic side of marketing and have started taking the steps by
taking marketing analysis and SQL courses.
