- Showed everyone the way to Gorakh (Sindh's fir
- Introduced the mangrove or ‘timar’ to vast multitudes through global broadcasts.
- Showed everyone the organic unity of Pakistan through ‘Beautiful Pakistan’ series comprising 52 talks that were broadcast by the World Service of Radio Pakistan.
- rejuvenated the drive to re-introduce Moenjodaro to the American public. The crowning glory of this effort was an illustrated lecture in Asia Society of Performing Arts (New York) . It is the same society where Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had spoken
- I toured a substantial portion of Pakistan on foot to collect material and photographs for my articles/features
Photography
1)‘Colours of Spring’, a one-man week-long exhibition of photographs in Pakistan Arts Council, Karachi.
2) Dozens of photographs that went on the covers of magazines (Douanes’, ‘Wildlife & Environment and many more.)
3) First-ever photograph of the Gorakh hilltop. The photograph appeared on the first page of ‘Dawn’ magazine to illustrate an article of a pioneering article on Gorakh.
Archaeology
Facilitated the archaeological expedition that proved conclusively that Karachi was lived in 5,000 years ago. According to a journalist, ‘ This discovery alone puts Azmat Ansari in te ranks of the immortals
