I'm Baraka Geofrey, an Educator and Language Tutor passionate about helping people connect through language.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts with Education from St. Augustine University of Tanzania, majoring in English Linguistics and Geography. I have teaching experience in secondary schools where I developed strong communication and explanation skills.

On Guru, I offer personalized Swahili and English lessons for students, professionals, and beginners worldwide. Whether you want to learn Swahili for travel and business in East Africa, or improve your English for work, interviews, and exams - I’ve got you covered.

Work Terms

**Hours of Operation:**
Available Monday to Sunday
6:00 AM - 11:00 PM East Africa Time (EAT)
I’m flexible and can adjust to your time zone.

**Communication:**
Primary: Guru Messages and Zoom/Google Meet
Fast response time - Usually within 1 hour during working hours

**Lesson Structure:**
- First session: Goal setting + Level assessment
- Regular sessions: 60 minutes recommended
- Materials and notes provided after each lesson

**Payment Terms:**
Payments processed securely through Guru.com
Hourly rate: $15/hr
Minimum project: $50

**My Commitment:**
Professional, punctual, and dedicated to your progress.
I provide feedback after every session and track your improvement.
