I'm a graduate of Applied Linguistics (MA) working as a freelance translator.
Being a graduate of applied linguistics (Master's degree, specialization in translation) gives me a head-start since these studies created a solid foundation for my translation career and provided me with considerable experience and language awareness. My main areas of expertise include: law (contracts and other legal documents), finance, accountancy, business, marketing, advertising. Despite the fact that I have translated thousands of pages from different fields of expertise, my metier are legal translations. I run my own business providing number of top translation agencies and individuals with high-quality translations. In the course of my work, I use specialized software and tools dedicated to professional translators, eg. SDL Trados Studio 2015, Abby Fine Reader 12, AnyCount.
