Visualizer/concept artist experienced in Video Game and Theme Park design.
Hi!
The name is Bas, a talented 28-year-old visualizer/concept artist from the Netherlands. Officially graduated as a game designer at the Graphic Lyceum Rotterdam, but in the meantime done many other things, including theme park design in Poland for the last 1,5 years.
I was responsible for the characters' designs (animatronics included), environmental concepts, highly detailed and realistic-looking elevations, and other designs, including murals, signs, posters, etc.
Covid brought many challenges with it, such as working with a smaller team than usual, having a lower budget to realize the designs, which required creative and practical thinking on a whole new level, faster work pace to be ahead of the endless lockdown regulations, things like that. It was challenging but exhilarating, and I couldn't be more proud of what we have achieved.
Now that the park has opened, I decided to move back to the Netherlands to be with my friends and family again. I've set up an office for myself to start my next adventure from there.
