I am Bassel Yasser, a third-year Computer Science student majoring in Cybersecurity with a strong passion for web development and ethical hacking. My journey began with building small web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Flask, which later grew into larger projects like an online bookstore and a secure document-sharing platform. These projects allowed me to combine my love for coding with my dedication to cybersecurity, ensuring that every application I build is not only functional but also secure.

In addition to development, I specialize in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment. I have hands-on experience identifying and fixing security issues such as XSS, SQL Injection, CSRF, and session management flaws. My goal is always to help businesses and individuals strengthen their digital presence by making sure their platforms are both user-friendly and well-protected against cyber threats.

I value professionalism, attention to detail, and continuous learning. Currently, I am preparing for advanced certifications such as OSCP and have already completed cloud-related certifications, including AWS Academy Cloud Foundations and Cloud Security. I enjoy problem-solving, exploring security challenges, and contributing to open-source projects.

Outside of my technical journey, I enjoy reading about new trends in cybersecurity, participating in Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges, and collaborating with teams on innovative projects. My mission is to bridge the gap between secure coding and penetration testing to deliver services that are reliable, professional, and aligned with the latest security standards.
